All Souls Day

Late in the afternoon of Dia de lo Muertos and I have failed to find any marigolds to place in front of the portraits of my loved ones. Instead, I offer a single candle and some roses as small ofrenda to honor them — my father, my mother, my brother, my grandfather, my grandmothers and my uncles. May they all rest in peace.
