Ask Me Anything
Over the last few months friends have reached out to me with questions. Not necessarily questions where I might be presumed to have some expertise. Yet, somehow, I have had answers, either because I actually knew something about the topic or I knew someone who did.
The experience has made me think that there might be a small business in having the answers to random questions, like those posed to me of late.
What the best funeral home for cremation in Santa Fe?
What are key elements of a good obituary?
Where can I find a flamenco guitarist?
Do you know a French tutor to help a beginner student?
Can you recommend an astrologer?
Where can I buy flakey sea salt?
Of course, it made sense to ask about a French teacher since I am part of a local French group and do speak the language. Over the years I have consulted an astrologer although I no longer do. And as an enthusiastic cook I have several kinds of salt in my cupboard, including flakey Maldon.
Maybe New Voodou should have an Ask Me Anything section. After all, how far is it from vodou to fortunetelling? Isn't there a little bit magic in all of us.
